What is structured cabling?
Structured cabling is the cable infrastructure in a home (residential) of office (business) environment that caters for telecommunications that allows network devices to communicate with each other whether it’s for Voice, Data, IP, Fibre etc. this makes up your home or office network.
Structured cabling includes Data cabling, Voice Cabling (VoIP), analogue telephone cabling, IP surveillance and anything in a typical network infrastructure and includes Ethernet cabling.
Your local area network (LAN) enables you to connect your business network devices such as wireless devices, network printer, bio-metrics etc. and home devices such as smart tv’s, wireless access points, gaming consoles etc. to a fast reliable network using Ethernet cables that connects to a switch and then to your router.
We install Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A Ethernet cabling in offices and residential homes for the use of Data, Voice and IP surveillance. Shielded and outdoor ethernet cable also available.
